1. Requirements & Compatibility 🎗️

WordPress: 5.8+ (tested up to 6.6)

PHP: 7.4+ (tested with 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3)

Database: MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.4+

Web servers: Apache 2.4+, Nginx 1.18+, LiteSpeed (tested), IIS 10+

Editors: Compatible with Gutenberg (block editor), Classic Editor, Elementor, WPBakery, Divi

Caching & Security Plugins: Works with WP Super Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, Cloudflare, Autoptimize, Wordfence

2. Quick Start (Installation) 📌

First come to WordPress Dashboard.

Option A — Upload ZIP via the Admin

• Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
• Choose kaddora-contact-form.zip and click Install Now.
• Click Activate Plugin.

Option B — From the Plugins Directory

• Go to Plugins → Add New.

• Search “Kaddora Contact Form”, click Install Now and Activate.

• After sucessfully installation of plugin, you will see ‘ContactForm-Kaddora’ in your installed plugin section, here you can check version and description about the plugin.

3. First-time Setup 📊

After activation, a new Forms menu will appear in the WordPress admin sidebar.

• Forms → Add New: Create a new form with drag-and-drop builder.
• Forms → All Forms: View all existing forms.
• Forms → Submissions: Access stored entries.
• Forms → Settings: Configure global settings (styling, notifications, spam protection).

4. Adding a Form to Pages ✈️

First you have to use ‘Contact Form Shortcode‘ in any page of the website (recommended- used in contact page) to appear contact form. You can find shortcode in contact form setting page in wordpress dashboard. By default only four fields available in contact form. It is look like this-

Widget –

• Go to Appearance → Widgets.
• Add Kaddora Contact Form widget.
• Select the form from the dropdown.

5. Customization (Design & Style) 🌟

• For Customize the contact form, Go to contact form setting page in wordpress dashboard. you can create new fields for contact form and customize it according to your need.

• You can also change color of the contact form fields, fill the color code and change it according to your design.

After customize your contact form, don’t forget to click ‘save settings’ button to save your work. now your contact form changed and appearing according to your design.

6. Submission Handling 🪂

• Storage: All submissions are saved securely in your WordPress database.
• View Submissions: Go to Forms → Submissions.
• Export: Download submissions as CSV for analysis.
• Notifications: Enable email alerts for new submissions in Settings.
• Spam Protection: Enable built-in spam filters.

In contact form, when you submit your data, you will get message success box that indicate your data is successfully sumitted in database as well as submission folder in wordpress dashboard.

7. Troubleshooting (Common Issues) ♨️

Form not displaying –

• Ensure shortcode or block is correctly placed.
• Check if form is published.
• Clear caches if using a caching plugin.

Emails not sending –

• Check spam folder.
• Ensure SMTP is set up properly on your WordPress site.
• Use plugins like WP Mail SMTP if native mail() fails.

File upload not working –

• Ensure upload folder is writable.
• Check allowed file types in Settings.

8. Spam Protection & Security 🔓

• Built-in spam filtering (honeypot + optional captcha integration).
• No third-party data sharing unless enabled.
• Compatible with Wordfence and other security plugins.
